The Experience
The only way we can truly be free is to resign wholly to our impermanence. Here in one moment, passed away in the next. Like the tribes in the photos, our installation exists
in a transition between life and death. A final shimmer before forever fading.
Our installation celebrates both the transient nature of our lives and the singularity of our existence. We will offer the viewer a truly unique encounter: a moment, held captive in a photo, will be set free to return to its past simply by means of your presence. Each photo is shown once —and once only. It will then disappear forever; deleted; its traces encrypted and impossible to ever be recovered.
The art installation is a custom made multi sensorially experience. Exhibiting one-off photographical art completed by serene corresponding audio and local weather conditions makes it a truly unique and exclusive experience.
Every moment will only be created once, which results in a one of a kind moment and will never appear again in the same form.
Every composition will be shown once.
Non-published and published portraits by Jimmy Nelson since the start of his journey as an artist.
The frame of the portrait displayed the local weather condition.
Every photo will be supported by local set noise, recorded during the photo shoot.
